A very fragrant rice salad: mixed with 15 kinds of local herbs & vegetables topped with dried fish & prawns (min. of 2 portions is required).
Our most iconic Peranakan dish; no one does it like us. All the herbs have traditional medicinal value. They may not taste good on their own but combined, they produce a strong aroma and the flavours come together very well. The herbs are all grown in the kampung as there isn't enough space to grow it in the city.
This dish can be eaten on it's own but may be too dry for some. As such we always recommend that you pair it with a dish that has gravy like Ayam Kapitan.
